The HZ-CD-205 is a two-student bench-style desk designed for traditional row-and-column classrooms. The 1,200 mm wide MDF top sits on a reinforced double-cantilever steel frame, paired with two matching beech-plywood-shell chairs. A welded steel wire basket spans the full width of the under-desk space. Ideal for primary and lower-secondary classrooms running mixed-cohort instruction with shared workspaces.
At 1,200 mm wide, the top sits on a Ø 38 mm reinforced steel frame with a centre cross-brace. Tested to 150 kg static load with no measurable deflection at the centre seam — accommodating two students plus their books, bags, and laptops.
Each chair uses a single nine-layer beech plywood shell, hot-pressed under a CNC-cut mould. The cross-grain construction resists splitting and the lacquered finish wipes clean of marker, ink, and adhesive.
A welded steel wire basket runs the full 1,200 mm under the top — books, bags, and personal items stay off the floor and within reach of both students. The open-wire design prevents dust and debris accumulation.
The wide cantilever footprint keeps the desk stable even when both students lean in the same direction. Anti-slip ABS floor caps prevent skid on tile and vinyl floors during use.
